Project Background

SEFAM comprises multidisciplinary retail brands that approached System Plus for Retail Pro licensing, deployment, and custom development for their fashion retail business management.

Brand-wise store management, inventory management, and managerial hierarchy management become a challenge as the business grows to an extent like Sefam Group. The Group runs over 850 stores of more than 10 fashion brands all over the globe. System Plus integrated the Retail Pro Software to their business with all the necessary custom development to best fit their needs.

Required

Sefam Group runs over 850 stores of more than 10 brands and it was extremely difficult for them to manage inventory using the legacy system across its stores and have a centralized control of all the stores brands.

Sefam Group required a centralized system that keeps track of their inventory & sales and helps them generate custom reports based on the their sales and inventory data. Managing inventory & sales in a system that is not centrally manageable is a nightmare especially when a brand has to do it across multiple stores. System Plus successfully deployed, configured, and integrated the Retail Pro to its stores with all the custom software plugins and made it possible for them to automate their inventory management process centrally.

Challenges
Managing inventory & sales in a locally developed system is a challenging task especially when it has to be done in multiple brands across multiple stores.
Due to isolated sales and inventory management, the data is not consistent and often it gets duplicated that shows incorrect results.
It was difficult for Sefam Group to keep all the operations transparent and efficient due to the inconsistency in operations management systems.

Solution

System Plus successfully deployed, configured, and integrated Retail Pro to Sefam’s stores with all the custom software plugins, increasing their sales and operational efficiency.

System Plus’ Retail Pro team acquired all the details at hand and devised a detailed strategy of Retail Pro Deployment. The key challenge was to integrate all 10 brand’s data, reporting and analytics in one corporate server. Teams were assigned to carry out tasks of deployment, installation, configuring Retail Pro and to train one master trainer for every 20 staff members in the client’s premises.

System Plus’ Retail Team handled the deployment of Retail Pro to 10-15 Sefam stores per day. In less than 2 Months, Retail Pro was deployed to over 700 stores with all the necessary custom-developed plugins. This is the fastest Retail Tool deployment to a business of this scale so far.
